Ready to indulge in Chinese Business and Culture? This course puts you on the right track. Students will begin to build a base of the most critical verbs, words, and phrases. They will start to understand the importance of tones in a tonal language such as Chinese. The core 100 words in a language can make up between 50% to 60% of what you hear or read (according to a study carried out by Brigham Young University), and this is even more true when it comes to Mandarin.
Furthermore, students will acquire an understanding of the most important cultural aspects of Chinese culture, and culture always plays a pivotal role in business.
